Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Part-Time - Time for Equity basis
Role Purpose:
As the COO, you will be responsible for the seamless integration of our Time for Equity model into the businesses we support, ensuring a harmonised operational process while liaising with ventures, stakeholders, and our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Craft and implement operational strategies that align with the business's vision.
Integration: Ensure the seamless incorporation of our Time for Equity model into our venture partners' operations.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with ventures, angel networks, and other stakeholders, fostering robust relationships.
Operational Excellence: Continuously refine our operational processes for efficacy and efficiency.
Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and manage our operational team, ensuring they are aligned with our strategic vision.
Reporting: Deliver periodic reports to the executive team about operational performance, challenges, and recommendations.
Growth Strategy: Work in collaboration with the executive team to chart out strategic pathways for business growth.
Financial Oversight: Ensure proper tracking of Time for Equity conversions, safeguarding the company's interests.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements related to our unique business model.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Prior experience in a senior operational role within a startup ecosystem.
Familiarity with equity investments, cap tables, and venture financing.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
