Position Overview:

As a UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer with The Co Founder, your role will be instrumental in crafting a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web application that incorporates cutting-edge AI technologies, including GPT-4. We're on the lookout for someone who thrives in an environment where speed is a priority, and adapting to changing requirements is essential. We value individuals who can wear multiple hats, create an engaging user experience, and operate with minimal specifications. Typically working a day or two a week, this role delivers equity based compensation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design a user-friendly web application for users to upload, share, download, analyse, and optimise various documents. 

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. 

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering. 

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces. 

• Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas. 

• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain the consistency of visual elements. 

• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web design is optimised for smartphones. 

Requirements: 

• Proven UI/UX design and front-end development experience with a strong portfolio (to be submitted with application). 

• Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma). 

• A good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including libraries and frameworks associated with these technologies. 

• Experience in creating responsive design and cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions. 

• Understanding of the complete web development process (design, development, and deployment). 

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. 

• Ability to work with back-end developers to ensure the integrity of the UI throughout the development life cycle. 

• Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
