Core Services Lead (Part-Time, Equity-Based)

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Core Services Lead to oversee our Venture Analysis team. This part-time role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a keen eye for lucrative business opportunities and a passion for start-up culture. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that The Co Founder lands and nurtures the right deals, contributing significantly to our growth and success. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Venture Analysis Leadership: 

• Lead the Venture Analysis team to assess and identify high-potential business opportunities. 

• Develop and implement effective strategies for deal sourcing and evaluation. 

• Deal Assessment and Execution: 

• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential ventures, assessing their market potential, financial health, and alignment with our strategic goals. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate deal closure and integration. 

• Team Management and Development: 

• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 

• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform at their best. 

• Reporting and Communication: 

• Provide regular updates to the Operations Team Lead and other senior stakeholders on deal pipeline, team performance, and market trends. 

• Ensure effective communication and alignment across teams within the organisation. 

• Strategic Planning: 

• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for The Co Founder. 

• Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and organisational growth. 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Proven experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related field. Experience in team leadership and deal evaluation is essential.

• Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of the start-up ecosystem.

• Qualifications: A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Attributes: Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player. 

Remuneration: 

This is a part-time, equity-based role. The successful candidate will receive equity in The Co Founder as remuneration, aligning our mutual interests and fostering a strong commitment to the success of our ventures.
