Full Stack Developer (part-time, Time for Equity)

Role Overview:

As a Full Stack Developer with The Co Founder, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web application that utilizes cutting-edge AI technologies, including GPT-4. We value developers who can navigate the ever-changing goals of a startup, work swiftly, and embrace the unpredictability of the journey. We are seeking versatile, all-rounders who can take the initiative, delivering high-quality results with minimal hand-holding. Typically working a day or two a week, this role delivers equity based compensation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web application for users to upload, share, download, analyse, and optimise various documents. 

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in software development. 

• Integrate data from various backend services and databases. 

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 

• Implement AI-driven features leveraging platforms such as GPT-4 for optimised content creation and customisation within the web application. 

• Implement redundancy features leveraging alternate AI platforms. 

• Test the product for usability and fix any bugs that arise. 

Requirements: 

• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration and the ability to manage cloud-hosted Linux environments. 

• Expertise in back-end development with languages like PHP, Node.js, Python or Ruby, and experience with related frameworks. 

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React or Angular. 

• Proficiency with database technology (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and understanding of SQL databases. 

• Experience working with REST APIs and socket connections. 

• Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD, and development workflows. 

Nice to have: 

• Some knowledge of AI and machine learning, especially NLP and prompt engineering.

• Experience of prompt engineering with platforms like OpenAI's ChatGPT / GPT-4.
